The Derwent Entertainment Centre was upgraded to MyState Bank Arena, a state-of-the-art venue for the Jack Jumpers’ NBL games and other events. The project involved demolishing outdated structures, upgrading services, and expanding the building with new electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Internal and external improvements included new finishes, pathways, landscaping, and civil works. Despite challenges such as tight 8-month timelines, Covid-19 disruptions, and the site’s fill conditions requiring design adjustments and piling, the project was completed on schedule. The successful delivery ensures the community has a modern, versatile venue for years to come.
