Supporting communities and changing lives since 1987
VOS
Foundation
It is the Vos families love for people and their commitment to helping those who are suffering extreme hardship that inspired us to establish the VOS Foundation in 1987 for individuals and families in the communities where we live and work.
VOS Foundation
The Vos Foundation, established in 1987, is committed to supporting disadvantaged individuals both locally and globally, with a portion of annual profits dedicated to humanitarian efforts. Recent initiatives include:
- A donation to Launceston City Mission
- A donation to the 2023 Hobart Christmas Food Appeal
- A donation for a school expansion in Zambia
- Local support for children’s medical bills
Vos apprentices in Northern and North-West Tasmania also contribute to community projects, such as building cubby houses for local organisations. The Foundation supports various causes, including aged care, veterans, educational scholarships, and international charities like Child Survival projects in the Philippines.
Vos maintains strong ties with local communities, encouraging employees to volunteer in schools, sports clubs, and through regular donations to the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.
