Viewing Shelter

The viewing shelter is the arrival point for visitors to Dove Lake showcasing the unique natural values of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. The shelter’s construction is designed to reflect the mountainous terrain where it is located. Vos Joinery focused on the tiered and bench seating as well as the feature wall linings all of which was produced using local Tasmanian Oak and Myrtle timbers.
