VOS delivered a new two-storey waterfront wing and upgrades at Uniting AgeWell Strathaven, creating a vibrant 52-bed home on the banks of the Derwent River. The expansion includes spacious light-filled rooms, outdoor areas with views of MONA, and a range of amenities such as dining spaces, a café, hairdresser, club lounge, and mini-mart.

The project overcame early challenges, including asbestos remediation and construction within an operational facility, through innovative planning, prefabricated timber framing, and careful staging. Completed efficiently and under budget, this marks the second of three projects delivered for the client in Southern Tasmania, highlighting the strong and collaborative relationship between VOS and Uniting AgeWell.
