Moonah Arts Centre Earns National Prize for Vos

Vos Construction & Joinery wins the National Public Buildings Award (under $5 million) for the Moonah Arts Centre.

This award was presented by Master Builders Australia. “The company successfully executed an eye-catching community arts facility and overcame a number of unique challenges to achieve the construction,” the Master Builders' Association said in a statement.
"From a building construction point of view, it was just excellent execution," Master Builders Tasmania executive director Michael Kerschbaum said.
"I know the client and the architects were extremely happy with the outcome and it demonstrated the worthiness of the win."
The win was the result of the hard work and skill of employees and sub-contractors, the general manager of Vos Construction & Joinery, Phil Mathews, said.
"We were thrilled to win a national award for the Moonah Arts Centre," he said.
The Moonah Arts Centre was a nine-month project carried out and completed last year.
The centre's different design required a high level of craftsmanship to achieve the desired results, Mr Mathews said.
